A prototype with acceptance evidence

AI proof of concept consultancy

AI proof of concept consultancy builds and tests a limited working prototype before you commit to production engineering. predeploy agrees the question, source material and acceptance criteria, then records where the approach succeeds, fails or needs more evidence. The deliverable is a prototype with an evaluation record and a next-step recommendation. It is for a buyer ready to test a defined workflow, rather than someone still choosing between unrelated AI ideas.

Leave with a testable prototype, a record of failures and a clear boundary between the experiment and a production build.

A prototype with acceptance evidence

what is the difference between a proof of concept and a feasibility study?

A proof of concept creates an executable test; feasibility work decides which assumptions need investigation.

AI feasibility study consulting can examine technical constraints, access and evidence before a prototype is justified. A proof of concept makes one candidate approach concrete enough to evaluate. The two can form parts of one engagement; you do not need to buy them as separate stages if the question is already clear.

For example, an illustrative operations team wants to extract handover actions from approved reports. The prototype must identify the correct owner and supporting passage, flag missing information and produce a draft for review. That is a narrower commitment than automating the operational handover.

When the proof of concept succeeds, an AI deployment company can release it into daily use.

  1. Define the test question.

  2. Choose one candidate approach.

  3. Keep production out of the prototype scope.

A prototype with acceptance evidence

what should we agree before development starts?

Define the inputs, expected behaviour, reviewer and conditions for stopping.

Bring representative source material, including incomplete and conflicting examples, and record whether the organisation permits its use in the test environment. Agree what a reviewer will inspect and which errors would make the approach unsuitable. AI assessment consulting helps select a use case if that decision remains open.

The NIST AI Risk Management Framework provides voluntary guidance for managing AI risks. Our practical test brief applies that principle to this specific workflow; it is not a certification or a claim that a small experiment establishes overall safety.

how should the prototype be evaluated?

Compare it with the current method on held-out examples and include human correction effort.

Keep some examples outside development so that a successful demonstration is not simply reproducing the cases used to tune the prompt. For the operations example, check whether the draft links each action to the right evidence and refuses to invent an owner. Record failed cases as carefully as successful ones.

AI evaluation consulting develops that review method. Compare the complete task, including checking and correcting the output. A fast first draft can still be a poor result if users spend longer repairing it than they would doing the original work.

A working checklist for this decision
CheckWhat to establish
1Reserve unseen examples.
2Trace claims to sources.
3Measure review effort.

A prototype with acceptance evidence

which shortcuts need to be disclosed?

Record every manual step or permission assumption that production would have to replace.

A prototype may use a prepared file instead of a live connection, a manually selected source pack or a restricted test account. Those choices can be reasonable, but the report must explain their effect on the result. AI integration services cover the separate work of connecting operational systems.

The NCSC secure AI development guidance covers security across design, development, deployment and operation. Use it to identify unresolved responsibilities rather than presenting a proof of concept as production approval. AI technical consultancy can investigate architecture dependencies before further investment.

A prototype with acceptance evidence

what should the final handover contain?

Keep the prototype, test record, known limits and recommendation together.

Agree repository access, setup instructions, configuration ownership and permitted reuse of the test material in the scope. The evaluation record should distinguish observed behaviour from projected benefits. It should explain whether to proceed, narrow the task, try another method or stop.

A positive result can inform AI implementation consulting, with production monitoring, resilience and release checks scoped separately. AI deployment consulting helps plan that release decision. Cost and duration depend on the test question, data preparation and integration requirements, so request an explicit proposal before committing.

  1. Preserve the evaluation examples.

  2. Explain the limits.

  3. Scope production separately.

Make the decision concrete

What does the current task cost in time?

Choose a task connected to ai proof of concept consultancy and enter its current workload. This gives you a baseline to discuss before buying training or commissioning a build.

A baseline is useful even if you decide to keep the process manual. Measure the work that matters, then compare quality and review effort as well as time.

Assess the workflow before changing it, or plan business AI training if the gap is how people use existing tools.

Your current workload

Estimate how much time the existing task takes before discussing ai proof of concept consultancy.

16 hours per week

People × minutes × weekly tasks ÷ 60. A workload baseline from your inputs, not a prediction of AI time savings. Include review and support time when comparing a proposed workflow.

A useful AI investment leaves your team able to do the work and judge the result.

FAQ

Questions, answered

No. It supports a bounded conclusion under documented conditions. Live data, user access, load, monitoring and ongoing ownership require further engineering and review.

Keep the failed examples and explain whether a narrower task or different approach is justified. A supported decision to stop is a useful outcome.

Use representative material that has been approved for the environment. Synthetic or redacted examples may be sufficient for some questions; their limits must be recorded.
