What AI training is

Most teams have not been trained

Businesses have bought AI tools faster than they have trained people to use them. AI training closes that gap, one team at a time.

The ONS, Artificial intelligence in UK businesses: 2023 to 2026 found that only 11% of UK businesses with ten or more staff have given AI-related training to more than half their workforce.

At the same time, government and industry have set a goal of upskilling 10 million UK workers in AI by 2030, according to the DSIT, AI Skills Boost explainer. The gap between those two numbers is where most teams sit today.

Why teams stall

The skills gap is real

Even organisations that hire for AI report a skills shortfall. For everyone else, the gap is wider.

The DSIT, AI Labour Market Survey 2025 found that 57% of organisations in the UK AI labour market report a technical skills gap. Among UK businesses with ten or more staff that use AI, only one in ten say they use it extensively.

Tools without training stay shallow. People try an assistant, get a mixed result and go back to the old way. Training on their own work is what moves them past that point.

AI training courses

Four groups, four courses

Each course is built for one group in your business. We run them separately or together, depending on the workflow you want to change.

Lead

01 / Leaders

Decide where AI goes first

For leadership teams: what AI does well and badly today, how to pick use cases, how to judge a vendor claim, and what to ask of the people building it.
Use

02 / Everyday users

Do the job with AI

For the people doing the work: hands-on practice on their own tasks, in the tools they already have, with clear rules on data and checking output.
Sell

03 / Go-to-market teams

Research, write and follow up

For sales, marketing and customer teams: account research, drafting from your own material, and keeping the CRM clean without extra admin.
Build

04 / Technical staff

Run and extend what we build

For the people who will own the workflows: prompts, evaluation tests, integrations and how to change a workflow safely once we have gone.

Not a consumer course

Generic course, or your own work

Flip the switch to compare an off-the-shelf AI course with training built on your business.

The bars compare approaches, not measured results. Off-the-shelf AI training courses teach the tool. Ours teach the job, done with the tool, inside your rules.

That matters most for data. People learn exactly what your policies allow them to share with an AI tool, and how to check output before it reaches a customer.

Which format

Find the right starting point

Tick what applies. The needle points to the format that fits most teams in your position.

Three formats cover most needs. A workshop gets one group aligned. A team programme trains several groups at their own level. Embedded training runs alongside a build, so people learn on the workflow they will use.

How it works

Audit, design, run, reinforce

The same trainers take you from the first conversation to the follow-up.

Audit

Find out what people do today

We talk to each group, see which AI tools they already have and how they use them, and read your data and AI policies.

Design

Build the course on your work

Exercises come from real tasks in your business, in the tools your team uses, at the right level for each group.

Run

Hands-on sessions, not slides

People work on their own tasks during the session, with a trainer in the room or on the call to unblock them.

Reinforce

Check it stuck

Follow-up on the workflows people committed to, with written guides they can return to and answers to the questions that came up.

Training plus build

Learn on the thing you will run

Training sticks best when there is a real workflow to use the next morning. That is why we pair it with our build work where we can.

Our AI consultancy picks and builds the workflows. Our trainers then teach the people who use and maintain them. When we leave, your team can run, fix and extend what we built.

For sales and marketing teams, the same approach powers AI-powered GTM.

  • Users learn the workflow we built with them, step by step
  • Owners learn how to change prompts, rules and tests safely
  • Leaders learn how to judge whether it is working
  • Everyone learns what to do when the AI gets it wrong

FAQ

Questions, answered

AI training for business teaches people to do their own jobs with AI, on their own work and in the tools they already use. It is for teams and companies. It is not a consumer course, and it is not training an AI model.

No. AI model training means teaching a machine-learning model from data. Our AI training teaches people: how to use AI tools well, check their output, and build them into the workflows they own.

Teams inside companies: leaders who decide where AI goes, the people who use it every day, and the technical staff who maintain what gets built. We shape each course around one of those groups, or run them together when a workflow spans them.

The ones your team already uses. That may be an AI assistant your company has licensed, the AI features inside your CRM or office suite, or automation tools. We do not ask people to learn a new platform just for the course.

Yes. Training works on its own. When it runs alongside a build from our AI consultancy, people train on the exact workflow they will use, which is why we recommend pairing them where you can.

Yes, in every session. People learn what data they may and may not put into AI tools under your policies, how to check output before it reaches a customer, and when not to use AI at all.

It depends on the group size, the format and how much of the course is built on your own workflows. We scope it on the first call and send a plan and a quote before you commit. The first call is free: book it here.
