Bespoke AI training
Bespoke AI training is a course designed around your organisation’s work, starting skills and approved tools. predeploy scopes the curriculum with the people who own the task, then builds exercises that teach staff to produce and check a useful result. This page is for a buyer who needs custom content and assessment rather than a standard course delivered privately. It teaches people to use AI; it does not train or fine-tune a machine-learning model.
Leave the scoping conversation with a course brief, agreed practice task and a way to judge what learners can do.

when is a tailored course worth commissioning?
Choose bespoke content when a standard syllabus misses a material part of the job.
A public foundations course may be enough for general awareness. Custom design becomes useful when different teams use different source material, a workflow has a specific approval step, or staff must follow your organisation’s handling rules. Compare AI training courses before paying to recreate material that already meets the need.
In-company AI training describes private delivery to an organisation. Bespoke describes what changes in the curriculum: the tasks, examples, review criteria and follow-up. A course can be both, but booking a private date alone does not establish that the content has been redesigned.

Tailored workplace learning
what do we need before designing the programme?
Bring the task, learner roles, approved tool and an example of acceptable work.
The GOV.UK AI skills tools package provides a role-sensitive framework and an employer checklist for identifying skills gaps. Use those as background for a brief that says what people need to do, rather than asking for every topic under the AI label.
For an illustrative procurement team, the task might be to draft a supplier comparison from an approved source pack. The buyer identifies which claims require a source, who checks the comparison and which decisions stay with a person. AI training for business helps choose the audience before the detailed course is designed.

how does a custom exercise work?
Practise a realistic task, including an output that needs correction.
The procurement exercise could use synthetic supplier documents with a missing delivery term and a conflicting specification. Learners must identify the gaps rather than fill them with plausible wording. The purpose is to rehearse a working method: define the request, trace the answer to evidence, correct it and decide whether to use it. The AI training plan for employees structures the custom curriculum, while AI training cost for business teams explains the preparation and support items a buyer should compare. For developer repository work, Claude Code training has a separate technical exercise and verification standard.
AI prompt training develops the instruction; generative AI training develops drafting and review. Your subject expert should confirm the exercise and answer criteria before delivery. Real client or employee records are unnecessary when synthetic material can expose the same judgement.
| Check | What to establish |
|---|---|
| 1 | Keep the source pack available. |
| 2 | Include an awkward example. |
| 3 | Ask learners to explain corrections. |
Tailored workplace learning
what should the proposal include?
Agree the audience, preparation, practical outputs and assessment in writing.
The proposal should identify the tools learners can access, the material the buyer supplies, what predeploy prepares and what learners will practise. It should also name exclusions, such as configuring production integrations or providing professional advice. Corporate AI training helps coordinate separate role groups when the brief spans departments.
Price and delivery time depend on preparation, group needs, format and any agreed follow-up. Request a scoped quote rather than treating an example agenda as a fixed package. If the workplace process itself needs redesign, AI training and consultancy may be the more appropriate engagement.
Tailored workplace learning
how do we check whether the learning transfers?
Ask learners to complete a fresh, comparable task and explain their checks.
Keep a baseline example before the course, then review a different source pack afterwards against the same criteria. Inspect unsupported claims, omitted exceptions, review effort and whether the learner knows when to escalate. Attendance and confidence can inform follow-up, but do not establish that someone can reliably complete the work.
Employee AI training programmes add structured practice after a workshop. Assign an owner to maintain task guides when tools or policies change, and agree whether a follow-up review belongs in the scope. Report observed improvements separately from estimates of future time savings.
Use a fresh task.
Keep criteria consistent.
Assign the task-guide owner.
Make the decision concrete
What does the current task cost in time?
Choose a task connected to bespoke ai training and enter its current workload. This gives you a baseline to discuss before buying training or commissioning a build.
A baseline is useful even if you decide to keep the process manual. Measure the work that matters, then compare quality and review effort as well as time.
Assess the workflow before changing it, or plan business AI training if the gap is how people use existing tools.
Your current workload
Estimate how much time the existing task takes before discussing bespoke ai training.
16 hours per week
People × minutes × weekly tasks ÷ 60. A workload baseline from your inputs, not a prediction of AI time savings. Include review and support time when comparing a proposed workflow.
A useful AI investment leaves your team able to do the work and judge the result.
